Lucknow: A painful accident happened in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur on Friday afternoon. A speeding Innova car involved in the procession coming from Moradabad district went uncontrollably and collided with a tree. Six people lost their lives in the accident. Whereas, four have been injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The bodies of the dead have been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem.

The procession was coming to Kashipur Aanga of Azimnagar police station area of ​​Rampur on Friday from Rahra Mafi village under Dilari police station area of ​​Moradabad. According to eyewitnesses, the Innova car of the wedding processions collided with the pole of an HT line at high speed, due to which the driver took the car to the right while saving, the car hit a tree. Vineet son Brajesh, Rakesh son Karan Singh, Krishnam son Virendra Singh, Saurabh son Vikram and Akash Saxena son Hariom lost their lives. Whereas, Chintu's son Nidesh, Sanjay's son Harshyam Singh, Bittu's son Veer Singh and Anmol's son Alok were injured. There was chaos as soon as the accident happened.

In a hurry, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem and the injured were brought to the district hospital for treatment. Superintendent of Police Ashek Kumar said that the cause of the accident was speeding. All the injured are being treated at the district hospital. The relatives of the deceased have been informed.
