Actor Sonu Sood is once again making headlines. He booked a SpiceJet Airlines flight to get the students back to their homeland and according to the schedule, the special aircraft reached Manas International Airport in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The aircraft took off at 3.50 on Thursday evening with 135 students and reached Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi at 9.40 pm.
Now after reaching the Airport in Varanasi, the students were very happy. The happiness of the students who describe Sonu as their Angel can be seen in these pictures. Last night, 10 students were airlifted by following the rules of social distancing at the airport. The medical team was also present there. They sent everyone out after examining them. Apart from this, following the guidelines of the government, a declaration form was also filled by the students and all have been asked to stay in the house. Bihar students are the highest among these students. There were people from many places including Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Lucknow, Bahraich, Kushinagar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Mumbai.
These students had asked Son Sood for help on Twitter and Sonu helped everyone. After reaching home, medical student Sayla Bano, resident of Siddharth Nagar, spoke to media. She told "Colleges were closed since March. Many children had gone to their country from hostels. In a lockdown, the food had to be cooked on our own." MBBS second-year student Rakesh Sharma said "We were paying a rent of Rs 18000 every month. Contacted, mailed at Embassy dozens of times. No one came to help. Sonu Sood is a real star. He helped us to reach home".
