Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg was the series' heartbeat, and as a result, it became one of the trending and favorite series among many fans. And it goes without saying that without Andy Samberg, the sitcom would have an empty void that only he could fill as its main actor.

Given Samberg's inclusion in the cast, he is most likely a member of the voice cast of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

According to Sony Pictures Animation, Jorma Taccone, a member of Samberg's comedy/music group The Lonely Island, joined Across the Spider-Verse in June. Taccone portrays a Renaissance-era version of Spider-Man villain Adrian Toomes/Vulture.

The Lonely Island star, however, has now disclosed on Instagram that Samberg will participate in the film with Taccone. However, Samberg's role in Across the Spider-Verse is being kept under wraps for the time being.

Samberg and Taccone are joined in the sequel by a number of newcomers, including Issa Rae. Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni as Pavitr Prabhakar, who will be portrayed as Spider-Man from India, and Jason Schwartzman as the major villain will all appear in the film.

Miles Morales returns for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the newest episode of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse series, according to the official description. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, the full-time, local Spider-Man from Brooklyn is launched into the Multiverse. There, he meets a group of Spider-People tasked with ensuring the multiverse's existence.

When the heroes disagree on how to handle a new threat and find themselves pitted against each other, Miles is forced to rethink what it means to be a hero in order to save those he cares about the most. The other spiders, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which will be released in theaters on March 29, 2024, will follow Across the Spider-Verse.
