Sports Minister Anurag Thakur launches Fit India Mobile App

 The Fit India Movement celebrates its second anniversary on August 29. Early this afternoon in Delhi's Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik introduced Fit India Mobile App as part of the celebrations.

"This is a free smartphone app that will help you keep track of your health. The slogan'Fitness Ka Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz' should not be forgotten " said Anurag Thakur stated. At 11 a.m. on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the 80th episode of his monthly radio program "Mann Ki Baat" to the country (August 29, 2021).

Additionally, a voter turnout of around 13 percent was registered till 10 am in the second phase of elections to Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti in six districts of Rajasthan to decide the fate of 1,680 candidates. Polling began peacefully at 7.30 am in the districts of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Sirohi, officials said.
