New Delhi: The Modi government of the Center is committed to increase sports and fit India movement in the country. The government has taken a big decision to promote it. The Sports Ministry has decided that from now on the National and State Sports Federations can get their sports events and leagues done at the stadium of Sports Authority of India (SAI) without any fees. They Can also use the facilities there as well. No one will have to pay any charge for this.

In the first phase, Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Major Dhyanchand Stadium and Karani Singh Shooting Range will be opened for the State and National Federation, so that the Federation can conduct its tournaments there. Not only this, the biggest step that the Sports Ministry has taken keeping in mind the players, is that now coaches outside the Sports Authority of India (SAI) can also train their players using the facilities of SAI. And now for that also they will not have to pay any charge.

Booking will start online from November 1 for the convenience of training. Even though the government will not take any charge from coaches outside SAI, but coaches can charge appropriate training fees from their players. Apart from this, youngsters who are not taking any sports training in a professional manner can also take advantage of the facilities provided by the government in these stadiums. For this, they have to get a photo identity card issued by SAI. For which they have to pay a nominal charge. Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said that this step has been taken to promote the Fit India Movement.
