The situation in Sri Lanka has now become very bad. In fact, the street lights are being kept off to save electricity here. Recently, Sri Lanka's Power Minister Pavitra Vaniyarachi said in a statement, "The State Power Monopoly has also implemented a 13-hour power cut because it does not have diesel for generators.'' At the same time, the minister also said, "We have directed the officials to turn off street lights across the country to help save electricity.''

He also said, "After decades, such an economic crisis has arisen in the country, due to which the major markets here have taken a disappointing decision to cut the power.'' On the other hand, people are taking to the streets and protesting against the deepening economic problem in the country. In fact, late on Thursday night, thousands of people protested outside the residence of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and people were shouting slogans waving posters. Not only this, at least 10 people have been injured in the violence during this period. On the other hand, protesters also clashed with the police.

During this time, the situation worsened so much that the special task force had to be called in. The clashes started here when the police tried to drive away the protesters and people also started throwing stones at the police. After all, this happened, the police resorted to lathi-charge. Let us tell everyone that there is a shortage of fuel and gas in the country. At this time, the situation has become such that people have to queue up for several hours for petrol and diesel. Here the educational board has run out of paper and ink, after which the exams have been postponed indefinitely. Not only this, but Sri Lanka did not have diesel on Thursday evening, bringing transportation to a standstill.
