Sri Lanka defeat India which almost stunned the host when they were at 29 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the 19th overs after losing the toss against the visitors. Hardik Pandiya who is current top scorer with 10 runs and it all happen when Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first. Suranga Lakmal who pick 4 wicket and Angelo Mathews and Nuwan Pardeep put good effort. For India side MS Dhoni score 65 Runs which help to India to cross 100 runs mark.
Thisara Perera-led Sri Lanka bounced back in red-hot form with the change of format as they bundled India out for a paltry 112 in 38.2 overs in the opening game of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series at Dharamshala on Sunday. Former India captain MS Dhoni was the only saving grace for India as he helped them go past 100. Sri Lanka pacers Suranga Lakmal and Angelo Mathews ripped through the Indian batting top-order in swinging conditions as the home side lost first seven wickets for only 29.
Indian batsmen getting out cheaply but this time they could not counter the terrific Lankan bowling line-up as they were left troubled from the first ball of the innings.
