Kangana Ranaut is all to set the stage on fire again by playing the role of legendary Tamil actress and politician Jayalalithaa. The Queen actress will don the role of the former Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister and the film is reportedly titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. While most of her fans are excited to see their favourite actress essay the role of Jayalalitha, a certain section of the audience is unhappy with Kangana playing the role of the former leader. Now, Tollywood actress Sri Reddy has also soon disapproval.
Sri Reddy, who is known for her roles in Telugu movies and television shows, expressed her disapproval on Facebook. "Iron lady ruled with single finger on her Tamilnadu kingdom..no one replace her, I can't see any other person to do our thalivi role..she is only one..but biopic is so important and helpful for our next generations to know her..any of our south Indian lady actress is fine but no "Kangana Ranaut".She wrote.

A while back, several reports of the director AL Vijay's statement regarding Kangana's remuneration for the film were making the buzz. Recently, in an interview, the producer of the flick Vishnu Vardhan Induri clarified the reports and was quoted as saying, "Kangana deserves every bit of remuneration she is getting, we are very happy to have her on our team, but the details can’t be disclosed it’s a matter between the talent and the producer no one else is authorised to talk about it."
Besides jayalalithaa biopic, Kangana is currently working on two projects namely Panga and Mental Hai Kya.
