Dubai Public Prosecution has approved the release of Indian actress Sridevi's body to her family after completion of a comprehensive investigation into circumstances of her death.

'The case has now been closed' said Dubai Media Office on Sridevi death.

Meanwhile, Dubai Police issued letters for the release of Sridevi's mortal remains, to the Indian consulate and her family members in order to facilitate the process of embalming.

The uncertainty over Sridevi's sudden death cause is still a concern of curiosity as the nation has lost its first female glamorous superstar. Be it her fans or admirers, from every nook and corner people are expressing their grief on the sudden demise of the Bollywood diva.

25th February 2018, Sunday around 3 AM on - when news broke about Sridevi's demise, reportedly, due to cardiac arrest in Dubai. She had to go there to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding along with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor. Unfortunately, her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor couldn't present there with her due to work commitments in Mumbai.

Due to pending the inquiry, Sridevi’s body had to remain at Al Qusais morgue while the hotel room had been sealed by the cops.
