Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released detailed information related to vacancy on ssc.nic.in before the results of Combined Graduate Level Examination-2019 (CGL). Accordingly, 8582 recruitments have been removed for Group B and C posts. The maximum vacancy (2159 vacancies) are in the posts of Inspector (Central Excise) in the Central Board of Direct Tax and Customs (CBIC).
Apart from this, there are 1456 positions of Tax Assistant in CBDT, 678 of Accountant / Junior Accountant in Controller General of Accounts, 840 of Statistical Investigator Grade-2 in Registrar General of India and 509 positions of Auditor in Office of Controller General of Defense Account. Meanwhile, it is believed that SSC can release the result of Combined Graduate Level Tier-1 today. Candidates will be able to check their result on SSC official website ssc.nic.in. It is believed that the results can be announced by this evening.
The CGL 2019 Tier 1 examination was held between March 2 and March 11 this year. Those who pass this exam will have to sit for Tier-2 examination. Tier-2 examination will be held between October 14 and 17.
