New Delhi: Rupali Ganguly, well-known for her role in the popular television series 'Anupamaa', has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Her induction took place at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, with party general secretary Vinod Tawde in attendance.
Ganguly, famous for portraying the lead character in 'Anupamaa', has garnered immense love from viewers for her role as a devoted housewife. Prior to her role in 'Anupamaa', she has also appeared in other successful TV shows such as 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', 'Baa Bahoo Aur Baby', and 'Parvarrish-Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi'.
Speaking to the media following her joining the BJP, Ganguly expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "Seeing this 'Mahayagya' of development, I am compelled to participate. With the guidance of Vinod Tawde ji, I seek your blessings and support to ensure that my endeavors are carried out in the right manner."
