Defense Expo 2020: World will see the power of PM Modi's 'Make in India' project

The Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) is working on the Make in India project of the Modi government. In the various Ordnance Factories, so far, many types of equipment, including the need of the Army, including cannon, rocket launchers have been made. They have also been displayed on forums related to defense products. Now such a special occasion is the Defense India Expo being organized by the Ministry of Defense in the Vrindavan sector of the capital Lucknow from 5 to 9 February.

This program board has been given a big stall in the expo, in which many ordnance factories will display their state-of-the-art defense products. Ordnance factories of Kanpur will have a special role in it. A senior official of the Ordnance Development Center said that four guns and one mine protector vehicle are being presented by the board. The gun system developed by Ordnance Factory Kanpur and Field Gun Factory Kanpur as well as the mounted gun system by Gun Carriage Factory Jabalpur is being displayed.
