Odisha's Labor and Rural Development Minister Sushant Singh was stopped from not paying toll tax at Masnikikani toll plaza in Sundergarh district. The minister was going to attend the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Sundergarh Government College in Sundergarh district. Two hours later, he was released after police intervention. As soon as this information was received, politicians, police and administrative officials came into action and started action. In this case, an employee of the toll plaza has been detained.

For your information, let us tell you that the State Rural Development Minister Sushant Singh was coming to Sundergarh in his car from Bhubaneswar to attend the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Sundargarh Government College. At around two o'clock on Saturday night, his car reached the Mansikani toll plaza of Sundergarh, where he was stopped for not paying the toll tax. Even after the introduction of the minister by his PSO, the plaza employees were adamant about taking tax and refused to leave. The Odisha Government, Labor and ESI Departments were written on the car, and even after pasting the secretariat pass, the plaza employees did not consider it. Along with the minister, there are allegations of profanity, abuses by Plaza employees.

The minister made a call to the Sundergarh District Collector regarding his problem but he did not pick up the phone. Sundergarh police reached the toll plaza at around four in the morning and brought the minister to the circuit house. A plaza employee has been detained by the police. On receipt of this information, Sundergarh MLA Kusum Tete, Talasra MLA Bhavani Shankar Bhoi, Raghunathpali MLA Subrata Tarai and Rourkela MLA Sharda Naik, District Pala Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, ASP Ravinayan Barik, SDPO Madhusikta Mishra also reached. SP Soumya Mishra herself has started investigating this case. Minister Sushant Singh has asked for the arrest and action of all the employees of the plaza.
