Shivaji Lotan Patil directorial '31st October' starrer Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das in a lead role. The film revolves around repercussion of the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and also the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The film is dated to release on 7 October but seems it won't be as a PIL has been filed in the Delhi High Court against the release of the film. Ajay Katara filed the petition stated that there are many scenes in the film which aimed directly to a political figure of the country and has been put him in bad light.

Petition demanded stay on release and also deletion of some scenes.
