Roasted chickpeas are one of my all-time favorite snacks. They’re incredibly versatile and add a nice crunch to any dish. Yes! They’re loaded with protein, and are an excellent meat substitution in any vegetarian dish.

Step 1: Preheat the oven as a hot oven will generally result in crispy chickpeas.
Step 2: Pour Chickpeas into a strainer. Run water over them for few seconds and wash it in running water once.
Step 3: Use several paper tissues to pat them dry. Get them completely dry for the crunchiness
Step 4: Transfer chickpeas to a bowl, and prepare the coating. Take chickpeas and then drizzle them with olive oil and add a little cajun seasoning, salt and pepper and stir.
Step 5: Pour chickpeas out onto a baking sheet, then sprinkle some more seasoning.
Step 6: Bake the chickpeas for 25-30 minutes, then remove them from the oven. Let the chickpeas remain in fresh air for 5-10 minutes and then it’s ready to enjoy.
There are many different options for seasoning chickpeas like cajun seasoning, garlic herb seasoning and a combination of garlic powder and smoked paprika.
