A mighty storm hit America?s Got Talent on Tuesday night (June 15), and we?re all the better for it.
Stepping up to the stage, the California hopeful Storm Large (yes, that?s her real name) impressed immediately with her shock of red hair, and down-to-earth confidence.
When she admitted her age (51), Simon Cowell seemed thrilled. ?Have we met before?? he asked. ?We were so young,? she quipped in response.
Storm then unleashed a stunning, torch arrangement of ?I?ve Got You Under My Skin.? In the later stages, that jazz standard turned ferocious as she belted out high notes with all the gusto of a rock ?n? roll pro.
A standing ovation followed, all four judges applauding on their feet. Viewers at home also loved what they saw. Among them, the legendary Canadian singer K.D. Lang who tweeted: ?Awesome storm. You nailed it!?

If you thought Storm looked comfortable before the bright lights of AGT, you?d be right. She was a competitor in the 2006 reality TV series Rock Star: Supernova, in which the performers battled it out to lead a ?supergroup? featuring drummer Tommy Lee, bass player Jason Newsted and guitarist Gilby Clarke.
