All the seats of the Delhi Assembly have started from 8 am. Postal ballots are being counted first. Trends will start coming after counting of all 70 assembly seats votes from 9 am. After the next few hours, the wait for the new government in Delhi will end. By Tuesday 11 February afternoon, the trends of all the assembly seats of Delhi including Dwarka will be revealed. On February 8, 61.97% voting was held in the Dwarka seat. On 11 February 2020, the fate of other candidates including AAP's Vinay Kumar Mishra, Pradyuman Rajput of BJP and Congress Adarsh Shastri will be decided.

This is a seat from where you have cut the ticket of your current MLA and made a candidate from Congress. AAP gave the ticket to Vinay Mishra, son of former Congress MP Mahabal Mishra, while the current one MLA Adarsh Shastri has descended from Congress after the ticket was cut. Former BJP MLA Pradyuman Rajput is in the fray.

In the 2015 election, the grandson of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Adarsh Shastri won this seat by defeating Pradyuman Rajput of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Pradyuman Rajput of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the 2013 assembly elections. Whereas in 2008 assembly elections, this seat was occupied by Mahabal Mishra of Congress.
