Mumbai, India – The horror-comedy 'Stree 2,' starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has made history by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. It has surpassed the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan,' earning widespread recognition at the box office.
As of this week, 'Stree 2' has earned a staggering Rs 586 crore in India, reflecting its immense popularity among moviegoers. The film, which is currently in its fifth week, continues to attract audiences with steady daily collections. The weekend saw strong figures with Rs 3.60 crore on Friday, Rs 5.55 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.85 crore on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday brought in Rs 3.17 crore and Rs 2.65 crore, respectively.
In its second week alone, 'Stree 2' amassed an impressive Rs 453.60 crore. Despite competition from new releases such as Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa,' the film has remained a favorite among the audience.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree 2' has charmed viewers not only with its engaging storyline but also with exciting cameos from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, both of whom received praise for their roles.
