MP Azam Khan was granted bail on Thursday in eight cases due to police negligence. The police did not provide a report on the demand of the court. A complaint has been made in this case. He told that the Chief Minister has been conveyed over the phone. He has already filed several cases against Azam Khan, his wife Dr. Tajin Fatma and son MLA Abdullah Azam. He said that the Chief Minister has assured to take action in case of police negligence.

The court had sought an explanation from the police in this case, but the police did not report to the court. In this case, the police has complained of negligence. The authorities have started the investigation. On the other hand, social activist Faisal Khan Lal has said in a letter to Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi that MP Azam Khan is lodged in Sitapur Jail along with his wife MLA Tazin Fatma and son Abdullah Azam. It has also been learned that they have been given mobile facility along with the food of Five Star Hotel there. Apart from this, bypassing the jail rules, people of suspected and criminal cases are being made open. Many complaints and cases have also been lodged against Azam Khan by me in the past. With this, they remain enemies of my life. To erase the evidence that I have, he can sit in Sitapur jail and plot my murder. So let me be protected.
