A large amount of weapons and bodies of Naxalites have been recovered in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the border area of ​​Dantewada and Bijapur in Chhattisgarh. In this encounter, the soldiers killed nine Naxalites. This encounter took place on the morning of September 3 when a joint team of police started a search operation after receiving information about the presence of Maoists in West Bastar Division.

Information about Naxalites hiding place

The police had received information about the Naxalites hiding in the forest area. After this, the police of Dantewada and Bijapur district conducted an operation along with other security forces. During the search, firing started and during this nine Naxalites were killed.

The Chief Minister praised the soldiers

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has praised the bravery of the soldiers involved in this operation. He said that the success of the joint team of DRG and CRPF in the border area of ​​Dantewada and Bijapur districts is big. Along with this, there is also news of the arrest of 13 active Maoists in Bijapur district. Congratulating the security forces, the Chief Minister said that their fight will continue till the end of Naxalism.

Previous encounters

Earlier on August 29, there was an encounter between Naxalites and police on Narayanpur-Kanker border, in which three Naxalites were killed. Dantewada police also got a big success in the beginning of August, when a hardcore Naxalite was killed and many weapons were recovered.
