Former Australia cricketer Stuart MacGill’s kidnapping case is getting unfold just like a typical crime movie. MacGill’s kidnapping was a big shock to the cricketing world after the Australian police arrested four men in early morning raids on Wednesday. 

A 44 Test veteran was allegedly kidnapped, assaulted and threatened with a firearm before being released last month in Sydney. As per the latest details flash out MacGill kidnapping case has taken a turn where his girlfriend’s brother has been taken into custody following the shocking attack in Sydney. According to The Telegraph, MacGill was confronted by a 46-year-old man on the 14th of April around 8 pm. The man has identified as Marino Sotiropoulos, brother of his girlfriend Maria O’ Meagher. Police said MacGill delayed reporting the incident to police until April 20 because of “significant fear.” MacGill did not sustain any serious injuries but due to the traumatic experience he filed a police complaint six days after the attack. Holton in his statement said that “To be dragged into a car, driven to a remote location, physically assaulted, threatened with a firearm, held for a period of time then dumped, I think you’d be pretty worried about your own personal safety, the safety of your family and your friends,”

MacGill is a former leg-spin bowler, took 208 wickets in 44 Test matches for Australia between 1998 and 2008.
