As soon as the name of Subhadra Kumari Chauhan comes to mind, we remember the 'Rani of Jhansi', because her creation is very famous. But the poet Subhadra was not limited to this only. Poetry Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, born on August 16, has tied people up with her diverse creations so far. She died on 15 February 1948. Today is her death anniversary.
The ninth pass was Subhadra: At the age of 9, she composed the first poem 'Neem'. This poem was given a place in the magazine 'Maryada'. With which she became famous in the whole school. With compulsion, she was able to study only till ninth grade. But she did not give up her poems and kept writing. There is no glimpse or absence in Subhadra's poetry compositions that she did not complete her studies even till 10th standard.
That's why the phase of writing stories started: Subhadra, born in a zamindar family on 16 August 1904 in Nihalpur, Allahabad, was very sad to write poems since childhood. Because of this, she was also very famous in her school. Later she also started writing stories, which she did for remuneration because at that time there was no money for the creation of poems.
Involved in non-cooperation movement with life partner: Subhadra, with 4 sisters and 2 brothers, came forward in the freedom movement and has been jailed many times. Thakur, a resident of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, got married to Laxman Singh and got her work of interest here too. Husband Laxman Singh was already involved in the freedom movement. Both of them joined the non-cooperation movement of Mahatma Gandhi. In many of Subhadra's works, freedom of freedom and heroic rasa are found.
