In his statement, senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy said that it was a big mistake to send the Ghulam Kashmir (PoK) case to the United Nations on behalf of the Jawaharlal Nehru government. The proposal was sent there without the consent of the country's parliament and therefore it is illegal. It should be withdrawn. Steps will be taken soon.

On Saturday, Subramanian Swamy was addressing the cultural pride forum held at DAV College in Sector 10. Swamy said Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was asked to implement Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir that it was temporary. This article can be removed at any time.

In addition, he said, the case of Ghulam Kashmir (PoK) was referred to the United Nations without the approval of Parliament. He said, now that Ghulam Kashmir wants to take India, it is necessary for him to take the matter out of the United Nations. India will soon send a resolution to the United Nations. Ghulam Kashmir has been an integral part of India and was forcibly taken over by Pakistan. Parliamentarians Kiran Kher and Colonel KJ Singh and former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini were also present at the function. The students also attended the event.
