Dumka: A tanker full of LPG collided with a bus parked on the road near Kurmahat village of Hansdinha police station area on Dumka Bhagalpur main road in Jharkhand. The tanker overturned as soon as it collided. As soon as the tanker overturned, it caught fire. Then, with the dangerous blast, the flames started rising. The driver and cleaner of the tanker died on the spot. At the same time, people of many villages working in the fields nearby were also burnt in the fire.

Three buses and a house were gutted in the fire. People say that when the tanker met with an accident, it felt as if a missile had fallen. People say that the flames were so strong that many houses along with the bus and trees standing on the side of the road were gutted. The pole of the high-tension line, which is 500 metres from the spot, was also damaged. Along with this, there was a power failure in the area.

Dozens of people working in the same field were hit and burnt. After the news, the fire brigade team from Dumka controlled the fire after hard work, but by then the three buses had been completely gutted. Here, Hansdiha police reached the spot. After the incident, there was a jam on both sides of the road. The police reached the spot and removed the debris from the tanker lying on the road and started the traffic. However, SDPO Shivendra confirmed the death of one person and said that seven persons were injured in the incident. The injured persons have been referred to Deoghar after primary treatment.
