Patna: Sudhakar Singh, who was agriculture minister in the Grand Alliance government in Bihar, said he resigned from the cabinet after RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav said. Addressing a gathering recently, he said that he became a minister only when Lalu Yadav spoke and he left the post only when he spoke. He warned Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that he has been raising the voice of farmers and will continue to raise his voice till 2025. No one can stop him.

After resigning as agriculture minister, RJD leader Sudhakar Singh recently held a Kisan Sabha in the Kaimur district. Due to this, he lashed out at Nitish Kumar and the Grand Alliance government. He also said that there are a lot of corrupt officers in Bihar and those in power are getting protection from them. Sudhakar said it did not matter whether he resigned himself or was taken from him. But he joined the cabinet only when Lalu Yadav told and left the post only when he said.

Sudhakar Singh said the issue on which his resignation took place should be debated. If the issues raised in the welfare of farmers while in the government are not taken care of, then they will raise their voices from the road to Parliament. Sudhakar Singh was made agriculture minister after the formation of the Grand Alliance government led by Nitish Kumar two months ago. Sudhakar is the son of RJD state president Jagdanand Singh. Since becoming a minister, he came into the news by making statements against his own government.
