There are many such forts of kings in India, which are famous for some reason. One such fort is in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, which is quite mysterious. It is said that the treasure of billions is hidden in some unknown place in this fort, which has not been discovered till date. This fort is known as Sujanpur Fort. Due to hidden treasures here, it is also called the 'treasurer fort' of Hamirpur. This fort was built by King Abhay Chand of Katoch dynasty 260 years ago in the year 1758. After that, King Sansar Chand ruled here.
It is said that even today, the treasure of King Sansar Chand is present in this fort, but neither the curtain has been lifted nor has anyone reached the treasury due to the secret of this treasure. It is believed that there is a five-kilometer long tunnel inside the fort itself, but no one has reached the end of this tunnel till date. Due to the road being narrow and dark, nobody thinks of going more than 100 meters inside this tunnel. Villagers living around the fort say that strange sounds come from the fort at night. He believes that the treasure is protected by the spiritual forces present in the fort. However, there is no strong evidence of this.
It is said that King Sansar Chand used this fort to hide the looted treasure. For this, he had built a secret tunnel in the fort, whose path would go straight to the treasury. In search of hidden treasures here, many kings and Maharajas, including the Mughals, have excavated many times in the rural fort. Even they have tried to go into that mysterious tunnel, but everyone has got failure so far. It is said that the mystery of the treasure got buried with the death of King Sansar Chand. Even no member of his family could get that treasure.
