Sultan’s big roars at box office collection, earns 180cr in 5 days

Salman Khan might be entangled in controversies, but that is no dampener for the star's stardom. One look at the box office collection of his recently-released film Sultan is evidence of the fact that probably nothing can touch Salman's popularity among his fans.

Sultan opened to Rs 36.54 crore at the domestic box office, followed by a glorious three days. After its fourth day at the screens, the Salman Khan film had already collected Rs 142.62 crore. On its fifth day at the ticket windows, Sultan has earned Rs 38.21 crore on its first Sunday at the box office. The Sunday collection has sent the total figure skyrocketing to a whopping Rs 180.36 crore.

Salman's 2016 Eid release has already crossed the lifetime business of several releases this year, in just five days at the screens. Sultan is expected to do a Rs 300 crore+ business.
