"Salman has been my idol and'Sultan' has been the wildest thing that has so far happened to me. Tears started rolling down my cheeks when I got the call for the film.

It has been a three-year struggle replete with several auditions and screen tests, before I struck gold with this one.” “I was told that I have been selected for a big banner film and it was much later that I discovered that I have been cast for 'Sultan'." He is playing a Delhi-based businessman, who has big ambitions and dreams. It's about how his life changes after he comes across Sultan.

He says on working with Salman Khan, "Salman Khan is a man with a golden heart and is a gem of a person. Working with him is a dream come true. He has been my mentor throughout the movie. On the first day of the shoot, I was anxious, nervous and totally paranoid. My director called me to rehearse a few scenes where I got officially introduced to Salman.

He made me comfortable by asking if I would like to have breakfast. He is so humble and grounded. He is a heartthrob with a humongous fan following, yet he makes you bring out your best when he is around. I recollect him advising me that I should love myself, my work but keep fitness and health as priority. That should motivate me to shed off a few pounds soon hopefully."
