Sunny Leone who started her career as a porn star moved to India from Canada and the US and has ever since starred in a few Hindi films and has also done item numbers in regional films as well. Sunny Leone is soon to make her full-fledged Kollywood debut with a film titled Veeramadevi.  She is currently shooting for a Tamil movie 'Veeramadevi' in which she plays an ancient princess.

Veeramadevi is said to be a war film and Sunny will essay the role of a warrior princess. The director of 'Veeramadevi', V. C. Vadivudaiyan has announced that Sunny Leone is playing the lead role in his next movie as well.  He also said that the film is titled 'Delhi' and is an out and out political subject.  Sunny Leone will be playing the role of a Tamil Nadu politician and the official announcement of this project will be out soon.

The Veeramadevi project started when actress Sunny Leone decided to pursue her filming career to act in a Tamil film after a brief stay from acting in adult films and made her official statement through her Twitter account. The making of Veeramadevi was announced in around December 2017 and the shooting went on floors from February 2018. The official trailer of the film was released on 24 April 2018.
