Actor Sunny Sachdeva, who has recently joined the cast of television show Harphoul Mohini, to play an IPS officer Venkatesh Krishanan, will try to safeguard Harphoul (Zebby Singh) and Mohini (Shagun Sharma) from Balwant Singh Choudhary (Tej Sapru).

Talking about preparing himself for the character Sunny adds, "As I'm born and brought up in Delhi so I have that extra edge in multiple languages as Delhi is surrounded by NCR so I'm very much familiar with Haryana and the culture the state follows. As the story has Haryanvi background, I'm not finding any difficulty in delivering my dialogues. I have many friends from the state and we talk in Haryanvi language. But curiously my character is shown from Chennai who has got placed in Haryana and he's good at multiple languages."

The actor, who was last seen in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, says he draws inspiration from Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn to play a cop. "Ajay sir is an amazing actor to watch but again everyone has their own style of acting. So I do take inspiration from him but try to perform in my style. As at times, character may remain same but individuality of the role is different so one can't copy. But yes I'm very excited as the role has brought new responsibilities about performing and matching the standard of a real IPS officer. I'm delightedly ready for this new challenge."

Sunny has also featured in shows like Krishna Chali London, Pinjara Khubsurati Ka, Zindagi Ki Mehek among others. He has also acted in Bollywood films like, M a Pass.
