New Delhi: The 25th match of IPL 2022 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be played today at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Shreyas Iyer-led KKR has lost its last match to Delhi Capitals, while Kane Williamson's Hyderabad had won their last two matches. If you look at the points table, KKR is second with 6 points and Hyderabad is 8th with 4 points. In such a situation, today's match is going to be very important and both the teams can also make changes in their final XI.

In the last match against Gujarat Titans (GT), SRH has suffered a severe setback. The team's star spinner Washington Sundar has been ruled out for two-three weeks due to injury. In such a situation, the team will have to make at least one change in its final XI. Sundar was contributing to the team in batting as well as bowling economically, in such a way that his injury is a big blow for the team. Who the team replaces Washington Sundar in the final XI will be something to watch out for. Till last season, SRH had three brilliant spinners in the form of Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. But now after Sundar, Shreyas Gopal is the only option in the team.

Kolkata's opening batsman Ajinkya Rahane seems to be struggling with the last few matches. In such a situation, captain Shreyas Iyer can give an opportunity to Aaron Finch in his place. With the arrival of Finch, Sam Billings will be out and his place will be given to Sheldon Jackson back in the final XI. KKR can feed four overseas players in the form of Fitch, Cummins, Russell and Narine today.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (likely playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson (captain), Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Shashank Singh, Shreyas Gopal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Marco Jansen, Umran Malik, T Natarajan

Kolkata Knight Riders (probable playing XI: Venkatesh Iyer, Aaron Finch, Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Sheldon Jackson, Rasik Salam, Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy
