Sunrisers Hyderabad’s ace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is already in the minds of the players and they will look after their fitness in the second half of the cash-rich tournament.
Bhuvneshwar further added that the World Cup-bound players will decide how to approach the latter stages of the tournament after playing the first half of the IPL.

Earlier, country’s team management had earlier stated that they would manage the workload of India’s top cricketers including Kumar ahead of the World Cup, which is scheduled to start from May 30 onwards in England and Wales. Now, Bhuvneshwar has also given his take on what the players need to do to remain fit for the World Cup.
Talking about playing in IPL, Bhuvneshwar said, “ That’s there in our minds. It will come into play after the first half of IPL, six-seven matches then we can know how we can approach the second half of IPL and what we need to do to remain fit for the World Cup."

The pacer further added, “There isn’t a surety for anything. Yes, there is something which is on mind, if I feel that I am tired, then we can take rest. So, of course, it is up to the franchise. I am sure they will cooperate with each and every player because WC is a very important thing for us and BCCI may also talk to them.”
The IPL 2019 is set to kick off from March 23 onwards and the matches.
