Tamil film 'Annathe' directed by Siva will release in Telugu as 'Pedanna'. Narayandas Narang and Suresh Babu have acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of the film starring actors Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. They have bought the rights with a fancy rate amid high competition. The film marks Rajinikanth's first collaboration with director Siva. Jointly produced by Kalanidhi Maran and Prashant Ramdas under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film has music by D Imman. Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Suri, Satish, George Marine and Abhimanyu Singh are playing other important roles in the film. The film's technical crew includes Vetri for cinematography, Antony L Ruben for editing, and Satish and Milan Fernandez for art direction.

The film has also got a censor certificate. The makers have now acquired the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certificate for screening the film in theatres. It has been passed by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) of India with a U/A-certificate. It is releasing worldwide on November 4, 2021. It went on floors in December 2019 and was completed in August 2021.
