New Delhi: Justice Ashok Bhushan, who was on the Supreme Court bench that delivered several historic decisions, retired on Wednesday after giving another historic verdict. On Wednesday, justice Ashok Bhushan, on behalf of the supreme court, ordered the government to provide financial assistance to the families of those who lost their lives due to Covid.

Justice Ashok Bhushan will retire on July 4. But today he has gone on leave, that is, today was his last working day. In fact, Justice Bhushan's mother passed away this morning, so he has gone for her funeral. Justice Ashok Bhushan will no longer come to court on his retirement day.
