Supreme Court: No more interference in Centre's matter of 'Demonetisation'

On Friday, Supreme Court declared that they will not interfere in the decision of Centre taken in the matter of Demonetisation as "these are the matters of fiscal policies." They also denied to further extend the date of old currency notes of Rs 500 and 1000 Note.

The five judge bench said that "the government should try its best to honour commitment on weekly withdrawal of Rs 24000 per person". On Thursday, they asked a question to Government about how people getting money in new currency note while raids are still going on in the country.

Last week, the center on Demonetisation issue submitted the Affidavit in front of Supreme Court.
