New Delhi:  CBSE and ICSE boards have canceled their examinations due to the corona epidemic. This information was given by both boards on Thursday. After this, the court has asked the Center and CBSE to issue a new notification regarding the 12th class examination. The matter will be heard again tomorrow.

The apex court asked CBSE and the Center to clarify the choice between internal assessment and examination in the new notification. Also, the court has asked to state the current status of the state board exam in relation to the date of examinations. The court has asked for a new notification and affidavit from the CBSE till tomorrow morning. During the hearing of the case, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Center, said that the examinations from July 1 to 15 have been canceled. Maharashtra, Delhi and Odisha have shown inability to conduct the examination by filing affidavits. Now the examinations will take place when the atmosphere is favorable.

After hearing this argument, the top court asked if there was no coordination between the government and the board. On this, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the government and the board are working in coordination. A new notification to cancel the examination program will be issued by tomorrow i.e. Friday.
