New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's plea was heard in the Supreme court last Wednesday. The court had sought an unedited video of ramdev's entire interview of his statement on allopathy. There was also a demand to transfer the FIR registered in various states to Delhi.
It was scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court today. Meanwhile, the hearing on Ramdev's petition in the Supreme court has postponed and the hearing will now be held next Monday. The court, in response to the petition, said, 'We have received Baba Ramdev's documents late and we have not yet read it so the hearing will be held next Monday'. In fact, Baba Ramdev is accused of making derogatory remarks against allopathy and doctors during an interview.
Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, on behalf of Baba Ramdev, said 'Swamiji had given an explanation, he had full respect for doctors, last year when Patanjali launched the coronary drug (Coronil tablet) and doctors opposed it. Everyone has freedom of speech and expression, the video that went viral was partial video.
