It was alleged in the petition that former amicus curiae appointed for Mukesh by the apex court i.e. former lawyer Vrinda Grover pressurized Mukesh and got his curative petition filed early, whereas Mukesh had a lot of time left to file this petition. The petition said that Mukesh should be given the opportunity to file a curative petition and mercy petition again by July 2021. The President should be given another opportunity to file a mercy petition.
