New Delhi: The Supreme Court has issued directions to the Central and Delhi Government to deal with air and water pollution in Delhi. Where it is also being said that the court has given 3 months time to both the governments to install the smog tower as a pilot project in Connaught Place and Anand Vihar to deal with the problem of air pollution.

Let us tell you that according to the information received from the sources that a bench of Judge Arun Mishra and Judge Deepak Gupta directed the Delhi government to install a smog tower in Connaught Place within three months. On the other hand, the bench said that the Smog Tower should be installed at the place identified in Anand Vihar by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). For which Delhi government should provide 30 x 30 meters space within seven days. It is also being said that the Central Government will provide financial help to it. The Ministry of Environment and Forests will monitor it. The project should be completed in three months. At the same time, on the question of the quality of water being supplied in Delhi, the bench has asked the concerned pollution control board as well as the Bureau of Indian Standards to inspect the sample in a month after surprise inspection.

Anti-smog guns installed in many places in Delhi-NCR: For information, the Supreme Court has directed to install anti-smog guns in areas of Delhi-NCR, where large scale construction work is going on, road construction, mining activities, Large parking lots and where demolition activities are taking place. At the same time, the Central, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh governments were instructed to make a comprehensive plan to deal with pollution caused by burning crop residues.
