New Delhi: The apex court is scheduled to hear today on agricultural laws and farmers' agitation. While the talks between the farmers' organizations and the government have not been resolved so far, the hearing is all over. Some of the petitions that are scheduled to be heard are going to challenge agricultural laws. Some have filed a petition seeking the elimination of the demonstration on the outskirts of Delhi from November 26.

The apex court had also heard the case on January 6. The government then said that talks with the farmers were continuing. Chief Justice Arvind Shrinivas Bobde had said that the talks did not seem to resolve the issue. The three-judge bench had heard the same. In any of the various petitions, there has been an appeal to the farmers on the borders of Delhi to make better arrangements for the removal of farmers.

At the same time, a writ petition questioning the validity of agricultural laws is also scheduled to be heard. MPs Tiruchi Siva, Manoj Kumar Jha were among those who filed a petition questioning the agricultural laws. Some lawyers and farmers are also parties to them. The apex court had sought a response from the government. Then, during the hearing on January 6, the government had said that the response was not filed as the farmers were currently in talks with them.
