Supreme Court warns to demolish Taj Mahal

Expressing its disappointment towards the condition of Taj Mahal, the Supreme court has warned the authorities concerned with maintainance of the Taj Mahal to demolish the builing, if they cannot take care of it. The Supreme court asserted, "Either we will shut down the Taj or you demolish or restore it."

Taj Mahal has been a prominent tourist spot of our country and draws the interest of a lot of tourists in Indian Tourism. It was constructed in the 16th century by the Mughal emperor 'Shah Jahan' in the memories of his beloved wife, 'Mumtaj Mahal'. 

The Taj Mahal is known to symbolize love. 

The Judges of the Supreme Court asserted that the Taj is more beautiful than the Eiffel Tower and it could hepl the country in solving its issues regarding the foreign exchange. 

Hinting at the Eiffel Tower, the Supreme court stated, "Eighty million go to watch Eiffel Tower which looks like a TV Tower. Our Taj is more beautiful. If you had looked after it, your foreign exchange problem would have been solved."

The SC also said that the care and proper maintenance of  just this one monument would have done so much to the country. They expressed, "Do you realise the loss cost to the country due to your apathy? There are so many monuments..."

The court also seemed dosappointed towards the careless behaviour of UP regarding the Taj Mahal.  

The court ould take would proceed the hearings about the case from July 31.
