Surat: A controversy has arisen regarding the wall painting of Bhagwan Ganesh in Surat, Gujarat. This painting was made on the wall of a toilet at Kapodra Square, which was built by Surat Municipal Corporation. Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) expressed their displeasure after seeing this wall painting. After this, the workers of the organization removed the wall painting by painting the wall.

VHP workers say that this painting of Lord Ganesha was made on the toilet wall, which hurts the sentiments of Hindus. Also, VHP warned that now if there is a picture of deities on any government, private or any other building, then that building itself will be damaged. In fact, VHP and Bajrang Dal workers had received information that pictures of deities have been made on the walls of toilets by Surat Municipal Corporation.

When the team of Bajrang Dal went to that place and saw that the picture of Lord Ganesha has been made on the wall of the toilet. After this, the VHP-Bajrang Dal workers cleaned that wall painting by putting white color on that Ganesh ji's picture. During this, the VHP-Bajrang Dal workers raised slogans against the municipal corporation and warned the municipal corporation not to make such mistakes again.
