In the movie, directed by Jim Boom Baa fame Rahul Ramachandran, he portrays a salt n pepper man-bun hairstyle and beard, a full-arm intricate tattoo and quite a modern, menacing look, in total. Director Rahul tells us about how the look was put together, the clues hidden in the poster - including another important character that’s visible on it.
Rahul says, “Suresh sir plays the central character of a 65-year-old man, who is a watch mechanic in Kochi, in the film.Rahul hints it is a tad slow-paced dramatic revenge thriller, set in Kochi. “The first half of the story is set in Kochi and the second half gets unveiled in Chennai,” he says. Rahul, scriptwriter Sameen Salim and Suresh Gopi designed the character’s look together after many trials and errors, says the director. “I don’t think Suresh sir has played any characters with such stylish looks, at least in the recent past.”
A regal black Labrador alongside the character in the poster has also caught many fans’ attention, especially as many major films these days are placing canine actors in prominent roles. “When we leave the theatre after watching movies like John Wick or Kala, one of the major characters that stay in our minds would be these dogs. In this move too, the black Lab has an important space. I myself is the human of a white Lab. The Lab's friendly and intelligent demeanour would definitely spice up the plot,” Rahul reveals.
A handful of actors from Tamil, alongside Malayalam, will also be seen in this movie which would go on floors in the beginning of the next year.
