One of the most loved actors in the south industry Suriya is all set with his upcoming film Suriya 42. Suriya announced his maiden collaboration with filmmaker Siva, which is temporarily titled, Suriya 42.  Bollywood actress Disha Patani is all set to play a lead role in the movie. In her recent interaction with, the actress expressed her excitement about starring opposite the Soorarai Pottru actor.  This is her Kollywood debuted film.

In a recent interview Disha speaking about this film said “I am super kicked to announce my next film with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never seen before avatar to the audience. 

Suriya made the announcement of Suriya 42 was made alongside a special effects-enriched motion poster that suggests that the forthcoming film is a period drama. The motion poster begins with an eagle manoeuvring over an intensified warzone filled with warriors who are ready to slash each other.  Fans are very excited by this announcement. Suriya 42 is directed by Siruthai Siva and the shoot is currently progressing swiftly with the second schedule. Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Rah will be seen in supporting roles. UV Creations is bankrolling the pan-Indian project and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
