One of the anticipated films of the year is actor Suriya's next with director Pandiraj. The film, which in tentatively called 'Suriya 40', is expected to be a rural drama which is the go-to genre of Pandiraj. While the shooting of the film started in February this year, it got stalled due to the current pandemic situation and lockdown. While the fans are eagerly waiting for the film, the acclaimed director has assured that Suriya's fans will enjoy the film.
In a recent interaction on Twitter spaces, director Pandiraj said, "Just like how Karthi sir's fans enjoyed Kadai Kutty Singam, Suriya sir's fans will enjoy my next. We have been taking extra care to make sure that each scene in the film comes out well. So far, we are happy with the progress."
The film features Suriya and Priyanka Mohan in lead roles with Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, and Ilavarasu in assisting roles. 'Suriya 40' is produced by Sun Pictures and it has music by D Imman.
