Bokaro: In a major crackdown on absconding criminal Arzoo Mallick, his house has been demolished in Several cases, including 'love jihad' and gangrape, in Siwandih of Azadnagar area in Jharkhand's Bokaro. Arzoo Mallick is accused of forcibly marrying a Hindu woman by hiding his real religion and name and blackmailing her by recording obscene videos. In this incident, the victim had filed a case against Arzoo Mallick and his 4 accomplices, after which the culprit is absconding.
The house of Arzoo Mallick, a criminal wanted in several cases including gang-rape, was illegally built on BSL land in Bokaro. To demolish this house, the BSL management and SDO court directed the Marafari police to take action on the recommendation of the Bokaro police. A magistrate was also asked to take care of the entire action along with the team that went to demolish Arzoo Mallick's house. Subsequently, the administration has taken major action and demolished the house of Arzoo Mallick. After the court order, the house of absconding criminal Arzoo Mallick had already been seized.
According to reports, Arzoo befriended a Hindu girl in Bokaro, Jharkhand, in 2021, claiming to be a Hindu. He was then forcibly picked up from near the gate of Swami Sahajanand Mahavidyalaya and taken to a house in a cooperative colony. Where already pandit was called and then he forcibly married the girl. Subsequently, he raped the girl and handed her over to his friends. Arzoo's friends had also raped the girl. Arzoo had also made an obscene video of the entire incident with the young woman. He shared the video with his colleagues. Arzoo Mallick continued to blackmail the girl with the help of this video. Due to this, Arzoo tortured the girl physically and mentally. Upset over this, the girl had lodged an FIR against a total of 5 persons, including criminal Arzoo, at Chas police station in Bokaro. Arzoo is said to be absconding since the complaint was lodged.
