Surya and Hari has delivered entertaining film to the fans. The actor-director combination has delivered movie Singham 2, featuring Surya was directed by Hari, at least many portions of the movie were helmed by him. Many viewers believe it was Hari’s direction that catapulted Surya to a commercially successful star. Even while he was busy directing Sami 2, Hari had rejected many offers to direct movies since he was keen to direct a film featuring Surya.

The film was to be produced by Sun Pictures and the production house had obtained the shooting schedule signed by Surya since they wanted to produce a film with the Surya–Hari combination. But after all this hype, it now emerges that Surya has turned down the offer to work under Hari’s direction.

It seems that  Hari might have been deeply hurt by this rejection by Surya though he has not made any public display of it. On the other hand, he has clarified that he does not make his movies entirely dependent on the heroes, but based on the story he has in hand.

Meanwhile, Simbu held a meeting with Hari. Simbu is now supposed to be acting in the Hari directorial. The duo had worked together in the movie Kovil.This film will be bankrolled by AM Rathnam. Rathnam has produced films like Indian featuring Kamal Haasan, and Vijay starrers Kushi and Gilli.
