Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, two Indian batsmen, significantly improved in the most recent ICC rankings, which were revealed on Wednesday. Suryakumar moved up to the third place and is now behind South Africa's Aiden Markram and Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan in the standings after scoring a fast 46 off 25 balls in the series opener against Australia in Mohali.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, previously held the third position but has since fallen to fourth in the most recent rankings as a result of his subpar performance in the Asia Cup and a 31 against England in the series opening match.

Pandya, who smashed an unbeaten 71 off 30 balls, jumped up 22 positions and is now ranked 65th among batters. Additionally, he has moved up to sixth place among all-rounders in the shortest format. Axar Patel, meanwhile, rose from position 57 to position 33 among bowlers as a result of his precise bowling against Australia in the first T20I. In his four overs, the spinner had taken three wickets and given up 17 runs.

The Player of the Encounter for Australia, Cameron Green, broke into the top 100 after scoring 61 off just 30 deliveries, while fast bowler Josh Hazlewood, who claimed two wickets during the match, continues to hold the top spot among bowlers.

However, Pakistan's opener Mohammad Rizwan, who made 68 off 46 deliveries in the first of seven T20Is against England at home, has solidified his position atop the list of hitters. The other Pakistani players to advance up the rankings are fast bowler Haris Rauf (up four spots to 31st), spinner Mohammad Nawaz (up three spots to 31st), and Usman Qadir (up 16 spots to 102nd).

Sam Curran, a left-arm seam bowler for England, has moved up 19 spots to 52nd place among batters. After helping to their victory, Alex Hales (126th) and Harry Brook (147th) have also benefited.
