In the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the angle of drugs surfaced. His girlfriend, Rhea has been sent for 14 days of judicial custody. She has filed a new bail plea in the Special Court, which will be heard today. In this petition, she has claimed that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has forced her to admit the charges levelled against her in custody. The bail plea filed by her states "There interrogation continued for eight hours and without the presence of any lady officer, it is against the laws".

In the petition, lawyer Satish Manshinde said, "Rhea should be granted bail". Rhea has filed a 20-page bail application saying, "I am innocent and I have not committed any sin. I don't have any major case other than buying a small number of drugs and it is a bailable offence," she added, adding, "During detention, I was forced to confess to sin."

The bail plea further states, "On September 6, 7 and 8, the NCB called for questioning. I did not have access to legal advice during this time. I was questioned for at least eight hours by male officers. There were no female officers. I have always cooperated in this matter. If I am placed in judicial custody, my life is under threat."
