Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national president and former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav's troubles seem to be increasing once again. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided 17 locations of Lalu Yadav on Friday morning. After this action of the CBI, now the war of words seems to be intensifying. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP's Rajya Sabha member Sushil Modi has hit out at Lalu Yadav and his family.

Sushil Modi has further said that Lalu Yadav's case is related to giving a job in exchange for land. Shivanand Tiwari and Lallan Singh of Lalu Yadav's own party first raised the issue with the then PM and Congress leader Manmohan Singh. He said that Lalu Yadav was a minister in the government then and due to this, the investigation of the case could not start. Sushil Modi said that there was a case of Lalu Yadav giving jobs to two class IV employees of the railways in lieu of land. "Then in 2017, I had raised the issue with evidence, after which the CBI started an investigation. Sushil Modi said that maybe now the CBI will have got more information, so this action is being taken.''

The BJP leader also surrounded Lalu Yadav and others of his family, saying that Lalu Yadav and his family-owned 131 plots and more than 30 houses and around the same number of flats. Sushil Modi asked whether Lalu Yadav and his family can tell from where they got so much wealth in their 35-year-old political career.
